"If you want to be a photographer, first leave home." Steve McCurry
about me
I am a Hungary (Siófok) based photographer.
Like so many of you, when I was young, I received my first camera as a Christmas present from my parents. But my desperate craving for knowledge did not lead me in the direction of taking photos, I was much more interested in the mechanics and the construction of the camera—it took only a few days, and I couldn’t help but I had to dismantle it.
Thereafter, photography was not part of my life. Only after several decades, when I was dealing with a company publication, picked up my camera again. It was the moment when I took the company photos that I began to discover the magic of images of our world, the captivating power of images, the excitement of visual stories.
Creating images started to become more and more of a passion. By now I have found my own direction, travel photography. I am convinced that, although worlds and circumstances may be very different, people in various parts of the world feel, love, rejoice and mourn in the same way. People, wherever they are living, are 'merely' adapting to the world around them. In my pictures I want to show this diversity, this never-ending adaptation.
